This wine is intoxicating at this point! Intoxicating nose of dried flowers, subtle raspberry, pine, and a touch of strawberry ice cream. Very smooth and integrated. Beautiful, elegant mouth feel and finish.

Morlet - Pinot Noir....any questions? If you have not try Luc (who is French and raised in the business of wine) pinot, please put it on your bucket list. The price is beginning to climb and I have now begun to question "is it worth the price?"...

This dark ruby colored wine yields flavors of dark cherries, with a slight strawberry tint; very pronounced flavors and body on your palate; medium (to slightly elevated) acidity gives the wine full body for a pinot. I believe this is one of Luc's best vineyard pinots. This wine is drinking nice now but easily has 3 -5 years of life left in the bottle.

Tremendous effort from Morlet especially coming from Fort Ross Seaview vineyard. Has plenty of depth and fruit still left. Quite complex and nuanced with no heat on palate. Stone Fruits, brûlée, cherry-raspberry reduction and crushed gravel Loved it.

Another great effort from Morlet. Decanted one time. Deep ruby and garnet color with immediate dark cherry and compote nose with some pencil shavings to boot. Silky smooth tannins are well integrated. Velvet smooth medium-full body mouthfeel without any heat and long finish. Tastes of dark cherries and strawberry tarts with some forest floor elements, chocolate and hint of licorice. Glad I’ve got a few more to go. This likely has a decade plus to go.
