  Macho, direct, elegant despite a little unbalanced. It's power resides in how it takes the was thought the oesophagus, an explicit burning land policy. Creamy texture and aromas of old wood are the highlights in the mouth and on the nose, respectively.
  Nice complexity but my love still is for the southern (Armagnac) or even some northern (Calvados).
  
  Después de tanto Armagnac en estos días un coñac nunca está de más, sobretodo después de la paupérrima selección que el Lounge N1 de Gatwick ofrece a sus selectos clientes. Impensable hace unos pocos años en los aeropuertos de Inglaterra. Apenas dos tintos y un SB australiano. Los británicos van a comer porque tiene un menú bastante básico pero gratis al fin y al cabo. Y para terminar con el tema, el camarero te lo ofrece "on the rocks". Lo rehusas, te mira raro entre una mezcla de admiración y de perplejidad y te lo sirve en una copa poco adecuada. Así son los Icenios.
  Varonil, directo, elegante aunque un tanto desequilibrado. Su poder se nota en el esófago donde nada queda vivo a su paso. Textura cremosa y aromas del paso por la madera son los predominantes respectivamente, en boca y nariz. Buen grado de complejidad pero mi amor está más al sur (Armagnac) o incluso al norte (Calvados).
