garnet colour and medium body in the glass. the fruit is somewhat more forward on the nose, with currants, pomegranate and cherries giving way to mushrooms, forest floor, and hints of fading blossoms. quite round in the mouth; ample fruit with dried overtones lets layers to develop; acidity and tannic support are firm; and the balance is very good.
seems to me, and based on the 2013 recently consumed, that this wine could still mature and gain a bit more in complexity. that said, it is drinking beautifully at the moment.

Powerful, concentrated - red fruit, orange or tangerine peel, rhubarb and woodsmoke notes. Rich but still medium bodied.
Aged in 25% new French oak for 22 months prior to bottling, no fining or filtering with two rackings before bottling.and then another year in bottle prior to releasing. 50% whole cluster.

Did a 2105 Pinot tasting of Anthill Farms Harmony Lane, Samsara’s Rancho La Vina, and Big Table Farm Sunnyside Vineyard
The Samsara was noted as earthy, mushroom, floral notes- roses, honeysuckle
Sour cherry or cherry cola (we disagreed)
