  • From 50cl bottle. Pre-phylloxera grapes on sandy soils. Fresh with red and dark berry fruit, linear and iron-like mineral layer, a minty accent, uplifting combo of dried roses and sweet spice. Only hints of leather. Fresh, fruit forward palate with the structure built around acidity and tannin mostly molten away. A special wine, strong in character, but lacking in precision and probably already well into its prime. Should also add that this was the second bottle, the first one from presumable the same source was already oxidized.
