MNB: Portugal I (Home (Noe st)): (blind) Medium plus ruby. Savory, sweet dark fruit. Slightly reductive black plum with blackberry. Maybe whole cluster / semi-carbonic. Dry, 14% alcohol (actually 13%), medium acid, medium plus tannins - bitter and scratchy. Rustic and a bit scratchy, but nice aromatics.
Reserva 2013 Quinta de saes dao doc estagio prolongado 70% red blend, 15% touriga Nacional. Macerated for 10 days cold soak. stainless steel ferment. 24 months 2nd and 3rd use french oak.

Nose had a bit of bubblegum thing which was odd. Palate was much nicer, red fruits, herbal, cedar, woody, eucalyptus.

3 hour decant.
A very nice, stylish wine - slightly transparent purple - tight nose - spring forest fruits in the mouth - pretty decent finish too.
