Funky and sour, very natural Savagnin. An almost amberish yellow in the glass, ever so faintly cloudy (except the last glass which is decidedly so). It has a yeasty, fermented nose combined with subtle flowers and pith. On the palate, it's quite soft, especially for Savagnin which often spikes with acidity. More ciderish tang, some layers of white fruit and lemon rind. For my taste I would have preferred more sharpness. Elegantly made, these Tissots are very sought after, but I might rather have Les Bottes Rouges 'No Milk Today,' a similarly macerated Jura white (often Savagnin, sometimes Chardonnay) which has a bit more immediate flavour and pep.

Might be a flaw or something but zero acidity, hard to drink
