Very good Napa cab. Inky purple color with the faintest tint of bricking on the rim...otherwise, still opaque.
Unctuous black fruit, luscious oak, and herbal undertones.
Still massive tannins, but with that plush, voluptuous texture characteristic of modern high-end Napa Cab.
Not quite as aromatic expressive and youthful as this was 5 years ago, but still showing no evidence of maturity, either. This should continue to evolve for the rest of the decade or longer, depending on how you enjoy your Napa wines.

Perfectly mature for drinking with wonderful aromas of blackberry, blueberry and lavender. Gradually, aromas of crushed hazelnuts and black currants blossom, which accompany the taste, where they are joined by black plums as well as an equally piquant and elegant saltiness. This is an incredibly well-made wine with multifaceted layer-on-layer experiences in a dense and velvety frame. The finish is deliciously long and freshly fruit-driven, with hints of star anise and dark chocolate.

Big, round and concentrated. A blend of the best Napa vineyards. Typical blue and dark fruit with mocha, tobacco and burned caramel flavors accented by some spice. Could be snubbed by some due to the lack of terroir but that particular wine is not meant to be terroir driven and I like it that way. Hats off to Tony Biagi. NI:5, FI:23, FC:9, B:4, L:4

From Magnum. Popped and poured. Took a while to open up but was really nice. Very balanced and soft tannins. Enjoyed. 92

A bit sweeter than I expected but nicely balanced and good structured. Pleasant finish.
