One hour decant. All of the components are there for a very good wine. Still on the young side. The primary, secondary and tertiary notes were too tightly wound. The energy contained in the wine was impressive and the tannins were there to further allow this wine to become more nuanced. I can see 2 point upside in 3-5 years.

This is what happens when a French Wine Maker who makes wine in Napa and Paso Robles does Bordeaux. A beautiful wine but huge and not typical of Bordeaux. I would not guess this is a merlot based wine but it is absolutely delicious. Glad I have another bottle.

Comparable to other Saint Emillion Bourdeux reds from this excellent vintage.

I think it needs more time, but has potential.
