  A well done and balanced cab. Not overly characteristic in one way or another, just very good. Bold, but not over bearing. Oak, Black fruit, light leather and earthy tones.
  
  I think I drank it too early. Could have aged a few more year and maybe that would bring more character.

  Very solid bouquet of ripe cherry, tea, and mocha.
  
  After a hefty 5 hr decant, Pallet began a bit acidic but calmed down over the next hour and change. Mouth was very dominated by cherry and mocha, with a smidge of eraser.
  
  Overall the persistance was medium plus. Overall a very pleasant wine. What holds this back from the other great Rutherford estates is the lack of depth and multi-faceted complexity that one sees from wines of better pedigree.
  
  Despite this, still a great wine
