  Deep garnet color with close legs … pepper, plum
  And menthol on the nose. Mild acidity , very smooth tannins. Having it with bbq chicken and it works. Going to giive it a day or two to open on the palate. Dare I say it is currently jammy to taste, with blackberries and and pepper coming through. I’d buy again but this is the only bottle I envision experiencing.

  Getting better an 1 hour later …. nose is a balanced scent of sweet beer. Like a shandy it gives rich yeast and citrus tones, and also (let’s be honest) underlying grape with promises of things to come…The taste is wide and fruity in a deep dark way. Noticing a very, long finish; ending on a subtle dark fruit/tannic note that lasts for, like, ever. Plan on finishing it the same night as opening.
