Color is dark, brownish with some bricking. Taste of raspberry, blueberry, earthly tone, forest floor, smooth, grainy tannin, long finish, its a mouthful!

Light red with no bricking and still plenty of cherry and raspberry on the nose. Good acidity and soft tannin help this hold on to its youthful vigour. The palate has lots of cherry fruit with a slight vegetal note that I also like. No hurry to drink any remaining bottles you might have. A nice burgundy for the price.

This got a "wow, this is good" on first sniff and taste. my notes are short, as I drank it a few nights ago. Typical Pommard, with lots of grip. Earthy, with mint or cedar.

Day 1 - Decanted for 2 hours. Nose of raspberry, cranberry and eucalyptus. Flavours of bitter cherries and raspberries. Young, firm tannins, long finish. A little boozy. Day 2 - Much better. Booziness is gone and much smoother. More earthy notes on both nose and palate. This will be very nice in 5-10yrs.

Similar to previous note. Consumed over 2 days, both days needed ~45mins to open up, still got life left...
