A surprising amount of oak flavours apparent here - vanilla and butterscotch. Aside from that, the tannins are nicely integrated and the fruit is nice. A well put together wine, but decidedly in the newer world style of oak and power with less finesse than I've come to expect from Bell.

Could use a decant. Pretty darn good for their lower tier wine. A little too much alcohol on the nose and a little out of balance on the palate but nothing that some air can't cure. Hold.
