Ripe black currant, plum, fresh cracked black pepper, green bell pepper, new leather. Full bodied, medium tannins. Rounded wine. Cool to try Carmenere from Italy; but this is really nothing special.

A wine with a lack of direction. Medium body, with moderate but undeveloped tannins. Overripened black fruit, herbs, earth, with leather and farmhouse funk.

This wine seems to change quite a bit each vintage, from light and herbal to rich a full bodied. The '15 is right in the middle. It's pretty big, with lots of fruit and a lush texture. Some fine grained tannins come on in the finish, completely within the mold of the structure. In fact nothing pokes out here. Is there a touch of green? Maybe on the nose? Maybe. Some will notice it more, and some not at all. It's a solid bottle of wine, and not a bad Bordeaux blend for $20, with the additional plus of being Italian Carmenere and Merlot. Some air helps this out, rounding and softening everything.

Nice wine. Soft Carmenere fruit, held by a backbone of Merlot. A bit much oak, but soft and flavourful wine. Nice to drink now

Zestiest aromas than the Errazuriz Max 2016. More spritliness to the palate too. Red fruit, sauvage, some citrus.
