Dexanted for an hour+. I was disappointed at first with a very subdued nose of black fruit with the most faint spice, hardly representative of Côte-Rôtie. Palate is more of what I expected, with intense black fruits, slightly meaty and peppery, all faintly rustic, but not coarse or unbalanced in any way. I will revisit this wine over the next few days, but like it’s potential a lot, preferably from 2028.

Peppery and earthy, elegant witg notes of blackberry and dark fruits. Decanted an hour and opened nicely
