  • Just gorgeous bottle from our friend Shane who brought this again to our house. Bright lustrous golden straw yellow color. slight hint of reduction at first but after decanting this faded quickly. gorgeous texture to the wine with no sign of oxidation, perhaps the best preserved bottle of this we've had. Nose and palate of crème brûlee, pear, lemon, tropical fruit, almonds and good acidity with a very minerally/saline finish. Really nice with shrimp scampi over linguini.

  • December Guy's Dinner (Our Farm in NJ): Brought to the guys dinner by Shane. Beautiful bright golden yellow. Fresh and clean on the nose floral and orchard fruit notes. Palate has a rich, soft texture and a distinct pear flavor with lots of mineral notes as well. Slightly saline on the finish which is rather long and unctuous.

  • Beautifully aged Pinot Blanc with lots of depth and texture. Recent purchase from the winery. One would expect some bottle variation and possible spoilage in whites this old but this bottle had only the slightest hint of oxidation and had a deep golden yellow color without showing as too old. On the nose there is dried tropical fruits like pineapple, mango and banana. Palate has some buttered popcorn, slight hazelnut, pineapple, mango and butterscotch. Finish is long and honied. Acidity pretty much gone but a lovely bottle of wine to drink now.

  • Wow... this is a legitimate mind freak! The color is a beautiful vibrant gold. No sign of oxidation. The nose has very subtle hints of citrus fruit primarily dried pineapple and dried pear and wood. Most of the nose present elucidates smell of minerals and fresh cashews. Medium to full body in the mouth. The taste provides flavors of oak, minerals, dried pineapple, subtle hint of butterscotch and warm cashews. A nice finish that provides the aforementioned flavors with a hint of lemon zest. This wine is delicious! If I were tasting blind, I would have guessed 10 year old US California Chardonnay with partial malo fermentation. Hard to believe this is a 20 year old Pinot Blanc from California!
