Opened up nicely over 30 to 60 minutes. Paired with smoked beef ribs, it worked. Tannat blend, is a bold wine with sour cherries and a bit of leather. I came to like it more and more with each glass, drank over four or five hours (while smoking the beef ribs).

Dark fruit - black cherry and blackberries, Connecticut leaf cigar, cedar, violets. Full and round in the mouth. This was good, I like LM's tannat and tannat blends.

Dark garnet in color, semi-clear, dull; nose of blackberry, tar, tobacco, violets, with hints of cocoa; tart cherry, tobacco, and oak on the palate; medium body, medium(+) acidity, medium tannins; long finish. This good red blend from Neil Collins had an amazing nose, but overall I feel it could have used another year in the bottle.
