  • Knock-out nose, a panoply of fruits of all colors. Exotic mangoes, black cherries, dragon fruit, pomegranate. Medium-bodied, this has wood ash and other minerally flavors as well as loads of sweet black and red cherries and a strong floral note. This is exotic and ripe and a style I don't typically like, but I find this quite delicious! Drink now-2027 92

  • PNP worked well for this really nice pinot. Nothing detracts from it's nice flavor. Just enjoyable.

  • Good the first day although it needed to open up a little more, as is often the case with this winery’s pinots. They need extra time in bottle OR they need to be opened then refrigerated for a day or two. Subsequent days’ tasting showed a lot more fruit. I normally don’t use “grapey ” as a positive descriptor but it really fits the bill here. It was wonderful, just like a previous J Christopher Pinot from a different vineyard was a couple of weeks ago.

  • Beautiful tension between the dark, gnarly fruits and the bright, clear acidity, the grip of the tannins against the lovely round mouthfeel, and the touch of deep earth against the higher toned minerality. tasted over 3 days, day one and three were most successful.
