This was partially closed on PnP first day, but very significantly blossomed when I resumed the leftovers on day two. Explosively rich mixed succulent berry fruits, Chinese five spice, garrigue, lavender, camphor, bergamot, pipe tobaccco, crushed rocks. Great QPR. Kudos to Dan Kravitz. If you don't decant this and don't love it right off, do yourself a favor and park it for a day+. Drink (aerated) or hold.

My first First Things First, this impressed right away with exotic and complex aromatics. Black and red fruit mix, kirsch, herbs, garrigue, lavender, licorice, tomato leaf, black pepper, minerals. Supple bodied with plenty of energy and fine grained tannin. Like a lithe CdP with both fresh spiciness and hefty depth. Lovely stuff. Likely to improve a bit too over next couple of years. 95+
