A lovely wine with a bouquet full of cherries, plums rose petals and charcuterie especially of prosciutto with some forest floor interspersed with hints of sandalwood. On the palate, you barely notice the tannins due to the core of pure raspberry and cherry fruit. The finish is a little shorter than I remember and drier.

Still very red fruit dominant. Lovely balance and quite ethereal in a light to mid weight palate. Good fruit intensity though Would like to see a bit more structure around the wine. Still very Oz fruity and not sure it will gain much complexity. We will see.

Thought this was pretty outstanding. Real intensity of flavour here but without heaviness. A darker fruited Pinot - think red and black cherry, plum and chocolate, earth. Starting to develop some forest floor and meaty complexity. Still a long way to go but already pretty impressive.

Up front I'm not a lover of pinot. So the wine was a vibrant bright dark red colour with a tinge of black to the edges and a vibrant crimson red hue. Alluring aromatics of violets, ripe dark cherries and strawberries gently laced with traces of anise sail through the olfactory senses showing great intensity. The palate was delicious with a nice textured palate. Mouthfilling yet at the same time elegant flavours of ripe cherries, red currant, strawberries and a touch of anise flow effortlessly over a back drop of faintly smoked vanillin cedar, a hint of dried clove, subtle fresh herb infusions and spice. Silky smooth, perfectly integrated tannins. Lots to like about this delicious Pinot that will only get better over the next few years

One of the better 2017 Aussie Pinots. Light colour. Needs 30 mins to 1 hr to open up. Green stemmy character. Stewed rhubarb. Very easy drinking. In a good spot. Drink next 1-3 years.
