  • Consumed from a Zalto Universal glass.

Intoxication nose of ripe peaches, honeyed Granny smith apples, yellow flowers, gray slate, and a touch of underlying smoke. The wine is intense, juicy, and explosive on the palate, with undulating flavors of yellow peach, canteloupe, candied lemon peel, fresh-sliced oranges, and dates. The wine has a long finish with gray slate minerality and herbal tones, with shimmering acidity that goes on indefinitely. An auslese at its peak of adolescence, with a long life ahead of it.

  • Always love a Martin Mullen riesling. Yellow peaches, bruised yellow apple, honey, hint of lemon peel, and tea leaves on the palate and nose. Acidity is perfectly balanced with the sweetness. Finishes with some wet slate minerality underlying the yellow fruit notes. This auslese is in a great spot right now but will be great for years to come.
