This is yum. Yes yum. Acid and a little cream. Soft cream. Hint maybe. But tropical fruit still. Yup. Very happy. Wish it was a little cheaper. But yum.

Typical California Chardonnay. The oak and fruit are fully integrated and I don’t see it benefiting from further aging. This was delightful with shrimp and grits.

This wine is in a good spot right now. Went well with a stir fry shrimp dish with soy sauce, honey and garlic. The nose and palate has a lot of peach and pear notes, weighted front with acidic finish. The shrimp stir fry really balanced the acidity and mellowed the finish here. The honey influence of the dish went well with the more obtuse front. Some herbal influence popped out in this wine and really fused well with the garlic. This wine is ready to go right now with minimal decant, as I don't see that it will really improve considerably with longer aging.
