  • Dark blackish inky purple, medium-full bodied, this wine is more defined by what it is not, rather than what it is, not overly dramatic or inspiring, not overblown, over-extracted or over-oaked, smooth, soft, balanced blackberry and black raspberry fruits with subtle notes of cassis and tar, a touch of leather and spice turning to hints of aromatic floral notes and creme caramel on a smooth tannin laced lingering finish.

  • I corvined a glass two weeks ago and was definitely not impressed. After opening I gave it about 3 hours of air and what a difference. 2nd favorite wine of the party. Lots of plum on the nose. Showed good complexity and dark fruit flavors. Deep purple color. Long finish. I have found that when a glass of wine is corvined it will change the remaining wine, sometimes for the better, sometimes worse and I will usually open the bottle no more than 3 weeks after. This wine changed for the better which leads me to believe it can use several more years of cellar time.

  • Perfectly fine Napa can. Good balance between acid and fruit. No wow factor for me.

  • Last Bottle... and while I like 'em, I think I'm over it for a bit. It's a big wine and it probably would have been better to not have it again for a few weeks. Too late now though... maybe in a few weeks, if it's still available, I might get more, but no need at this time...

  • This bottle was about the same as the last one. Seems big and rich enough to age longer, but maybe not. A fine bottle, but after the first two bottles, most of the rest haven’t been as solid, and this one, sorry to say, is like the later bottles and not the first two.
