Strawberry, raspberry, and plum fruits followed by wet stones and olives. Cayenne pepper on the finish. Classic, well-made Beauojolais, though I’ve had some other Bojos that I’ve liked better around this price point. It’s a little one dimensional.

90 pts. Fun bottle to drink. Nose full or raspberries, blackberries, blueberries. Also crushed rock. Bright and alive on the tongue. Drinking well now. No need to wait.

Beautiful nose of raspberries, cinnamon and baking spaces on pop-n-pour had me quite excited. After time in the glass, the fruit became more muted, and notes of basil and sage seemed to overtake the fruit and spices, which was not necessarily to my liking. Lots of acidity, and very interesting to drink. I will wait to see what another year or two in bottle do.

Rusty notes pre-decant, drinking well now, would benefit from a few more years aging.
