  • Excellent bottle. Juicy red fruits and strawberries hang around a nice acid backbone. Medium bodied and finish. Good drinking phase.

  • Medium bright red color. Cherries and smoke bouquet. Dark cherry entry is immediately cut short by a backward and astringent finish.
This should improve with age. Rather tough right now.

  • On the nose, it’s overripe strawberries and a farmyard aroma almost in the vein of manure (it smells better than it sounds), but there’s a spicy element to it like clove. Still juicy on the palate, showing plenty of tart cherries and raspberries, along with mulling spices, licorice, and a slightly herbaceous note like rosemary. The finish is bright and fruity, albeit a tad short-lived.

  • This pours light ruby in the glass with light flecks of pink toward the rim. The nose is bright an aromatic showing notes of red currant, cranberry, sour cherry, crab apple, rose petals, dusty soil, a touch of undergrowth, and a lightly cough syrup character. The palate is light and airy with light and tart red fruit, turning a touch green on a mid-palate. Tannin and acid are medium. The finish is a tad clipped closing on tart red fruit, light green character, and the airy rose petal quality. All in all here we have a nice bottle of red burgundy, priced a little ahead of it's quality in my view. I will admit that its very possible this is a bit tight and closed today and could easily drink much better with 5 - 10 years of age. I wont touch another one for a while.
