This was the richest wine of the bunch - the nose had some tropical fruit, peach, and citrus fruit. The vegetal elements were there, but definitely in the background. This wine was just a little flat in the middle - not watery but just lacked the verve. Seems overpriced for a Federspiel. ($33)

John's Jambalaya -- lighter and somewhat a bitter finish, but still a good refreshing white to start a dinner.
