Served blind. Decanted for 3 hours. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a single clone. Aged in new French oak for 22 months. First time I have had a wine from this estate. An earthy nose. Solid fruit with notes of black cherry, cinnamon and cassis. Firm tannins with a minerally finish. 94 points.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (EBCC): Double blind. Aromas of plum, leather and black fruit. Full-bodied with medium tannins and flavors of dark fruit, pepper, licorice and cherry cordial. With time it shows less plum and leather and gives off more mixed berry fruit. Well-balanced, with dark fruit and chocolate. Guessed Napa cab sauv. (V&M)

Dark bright Ruby Color. More savory notes on the nose. Darker fruit. STill has legs. Tannins softening. Nice balance. Drinking pretty well.
