Cork was depressed by about 5mm and there was seepage up to the halfway point. The wine itself seems to be fine.
Clear dark ruby in color. Raspberries, cherries, strawberries, and a bit of spice on the nose. Bing cherry, vanilla, spice, and mind pepper the tongue. Supple tannin structure and a nice long dry mild pie spice finish. Paris well with food. There is a bit of excitement missing from this wine that prevents us form rating it higher
Overall, we found the 2017 Lula Costa Vineyard was a more exciting wine despite it being a much more delicate Pinot.
