Decanted three hours. Soft round fruit and spiced oak, palate filling but lacking in focus. Very enjoyable but I'd expect to pay more like $75 than $190 for this cuvee.

Young, needs more time in bottle & cellaring. Wait until 2021 to try again. The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black pepper, blackberry, black currant (cassis), cedar and lead pencil. It tastes like blackberry and black currant (cassis). The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Winorama: A winter in Wineland III; 1/4/2019-1/13/2019 (Portland/Willamette, Eureka, Napa): Celebrity wine which can go many different ways, but this one seems to be for real. Vineyard is up in Howell Mountain and I always do love the mountain fruit. This is still quite young. I'm surprised to see the short drinking window on it. Seems this is a wine that will need a bit of time to find itself. More gritty tannins. Very dark and brooding. Full strength of the mountain went into the wine. I like it.

Needed 90 minute decant to open up. Some nice charred earth, good viscosity, otherwise typical Napa Cab.
