Supper with Daniel (E & M's in the rocks, Sydney): Softly engaging, still with fresh plummy fruit, touches of leather, sweet spice, breadth on the mid palate, weight is more Burgundian though, this is very good, all travels long.

Fully mature but opened out after a two hour decant. Nose of redcurrant, subtle fruit, earth. Madurese red fruits flavour. Probably past best but still drinking well.
