Tasted blind. No one guess it’s a Saint Aubin. The nose is performing as usual with notes of mineral, chalky, flint, white flora, grapefruit, green apple. High acidity and medium+ finish. Will probably improve with some ageing but not for long. Best to drink now to enjoy.

Flinty reduction, waxy flowers, citrus. Ripe orchard fruits, minerality, rich-textured but with excellent supporting acidity. This is a bit burly but it’s got nice complexity and overall balance and is very enjoyable.

Lovely light golden color. Nose carried some gunfight and reductiveness at first, combined with white orchard fruit and a touch of oak. As it opened, however, it turned to butter and smoke combined with ripe apple and pear, slightly honeyed and with floral notes. On the palate, this was quite concentrated with great delineation of soil and ripe fruit. Mouth feel quite textured with impressive body and detail. notable dry extract on the mid palate with an acid core that gives nice lift. This was impressive. Medium alcohol and nice balanced finish. Drinking perfectly right now.

Very good! Didn't guess a St. Aubin. Liked it very much! Detail notes may yet follow...

Not my favorite Ramonet. A little modern tasting.
More “St Aubin” than “Ramonet”. Missing some of the lightness combined with power
