Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Quite surprising, this is another wine for which I am the only CT user with any logged bottles. About an hour in the decanter (and Pinot glass) at this point, showing a medium red (read, burgundy) color. Cherry pits, underbrush, mint, and animal aspects tied to medium acidity and medium+ tannins. This probably needs a few more hours of air and a few more years in the cellar, so it can mellow and soften. Still a tad too austere at this point. Probably only 88 right now, but will hopefully hit 90 down the road.
