  Wondered how this off vintage village beaune would be 12 years down the line. Fully at peak, fruit holding against a firm acid backbone. Really fine for what it is. I very much like the rusticity found in this producer's wines. They evolve well and steadily. One left and it should hold for several years.

  Transparent Ruby red in color. Elegant nose of spice, cherry, game, and flowers. The palate is fairly light, but with good flavors of strawberry and cherry, along with decent minerality. The tannins are fairly light, and the wine has some elegance, although it may be just a bit too acidic.
