I've not been blown away by all the various Birichino offerings, but this may be arguably among their best. In a good drinking window, but needs some air (long breathing). Interplay between red fruit and vegetative tastes. Went very well with smoked pork loin roast and southern sides (yams, black eye peas, spinach). Enough acidity to stand up to something lighter like this. Starts out timid with a very pleasant full of depth finish. Drink now into 2023.

Are you kidding me?! This just keeps getting better and better. I understand the previous note equating this wine to a good Cru Beajolais. Fresh and vibrant. Ripe strawberry and raspberry. A bit of wood secondaries and garrigue. Great acid and long tannic finish. Really nice balance. Amazing qpr. I need another case of this.

Great juice! Very reminiscent of high quality cru beaujolais I thought. Took a few hours to open up, but once it did it was all delicious red fruit and juicy acid. Need to buy more.

Really ripe strawberries. Vineyard planted in 1910. Central Coast. Nice balance to the palate with vibrant acidity, nice fruit tannins and mild bitterness on palate. the wine really lingers in a pleasant way. I really like/ it.

Dream Big - Discover California Wine Tasting (Stockholm, Gamla Riksarkivet (old government archives building) March 2019): Sweet Grenache fruit of raspberry and strawberry. It's the most fruity wine in the line up and has a lot of intensity. Good freshness.
