  • Last bottle.....not sure if it's fading or I'm just not that enamored with it anymore. Lowest score of my 3 bottles. Seems just kind of basic at this stage/age.

  • Pnp'd right before dinner of a crock pot pork tenderloin and mushrooms in brown gravy......delish pairing! Great dark color in the glass, unmistakable Santa Lucia nose, not quite sure how to describe it, you just know it when you smell it....reminiscent of a Landmark pinot of 10 years ago, that I loved. Smooth mouth feel and gentle barrel spice throughout with plenty acidity to go for more years. A really nice wine from Wineaccess, procured recently. Seems to be getting darker fruited and more mellow (but not weak) with 2 hours of air. Probably a 94 now. Becoming more cerebral as time passes.......

  • this is one of my favorites, SLH is a fun region for Pinots
The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant, black currant (cassis) and cherry. It tastes like cherry and plum. The body is medium. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
