  该酒庄从1744年开始就一直归穆勒-卡托尔（Muller-Catoir）家族所有，现在酒庄已经传到家族的第九代,园里种植的葡萄品种主要是雷司令（Riesling），还有一些像雷司兰尼（Rieslaner）和穆思卡特（Muskateller）这样的稀有品种,葡萄树的平均树龄为35-50年，卡托尔酒庄出品葡萄酒口感非常惊人，强劲、味美，萃取物含量丰富，果香四溢。由于酒庄的葡萄总是很晚采收，所以发酵前的果汁温度很低，发酵的速度很慢。分离之后到去除酵母的过程中都不会进行任何人工操作，直到装瓶。在装瓶储藏后，这些葡萄酒中 通常会出现大量的酒石酸盐晶状体沉淀物，这些沉淀物充分说明了葡萄酒的酿制过程是天然的，没有人工操作的。

  Wow. Spectacularly thick, viscous, intense TBA. Amazingly palate of Apricot Jam with hints of the tropical/banaaa spectrum of fruits. Not enough acidity today to balance the enormous fruit richness but with time that will mellow a little. In terms of Scale this yellow motor oil wannabe eclipses that Burgergarten but if I were to nick pick (And with juice this delicious that's probably not a good idea), I'd want a little more acidity to match the amazing richness of the fruit. Still a mesmerising experience.

  Very expressive aromas of peaches, apricots, honey, molasses. In the mouth, there is a mixture of honeyed liquor, fruit jams, and spices. The wine is amazingly expressive and yet it some sense very light and refreshing. The finish is expectantly long and comlpex. Great wine (and quite open)
