The nose was a bit more restrained on this bottle, compared to my previous bottle. But the palate was delicious, waxy, and salty. Was wonderful at the dinner table.

Dinner at Min Jiang: Wow was convinced that this was a Burgundy. Definitely a maker who was trying to mimic such a style with all markers of a good Chardonnay - well-judged oak use and reduction, with sharp citrus fruit and tension. A pleasant discovery.

Ripe, lemony tropical fruit, yellow plums, salty sea breeze, volcanic minerality and white flowers. Fresh and dry character, good acidity. Very enjoyable and drinking well now but due to the ripe and round fruit not quite as impressive and as the more classic 2016.

Ripe, rich, round and fleshy for Carricante. Yellow flowers and stone fruits. Palate is very open knit and pleasant. Personally prefer the Benanti.

Lovely mid weight lemony flavors and super salty finish. Great stuff.
