Private Extraction Bomb Marathon; 12/23/2018-2/1/2019 (At Our Homes): This was my last bottle - a good one. But as I mentioned in my TN of August 17th, 2017, the consecutive days can no longer keep up with day 1, so I would urge you to consume whatever you have left of this, and preferably consume it on day 1. In this case, day 1 would have been a 92 perhaps, and day 3 an 89. It is on a downhill slope, and generally I wouldn't give this product an optimal window longer than 6 years after vintage.

As usual with this wine, the rating is Primitivo-specific.
Was going to give it a 95 on day 1, but by day 3 it started to show a slight tilt in balance. Otherwise this bottle was a return to the original experience of the full on dark-chocolatey, slightly herbal blueberry extraction monster I believe it was intended as. Hail Bacchus ! 93 - 94.

This was a flawed bottle. Still good enough to get it down somehow. One more bottle, will consume within weeks and report back here.
