Deep and seductive dark chocolate, twisted with black cherry, and ripe plum finishing into straw and tobacco. Plum, coffee, and mixed berries intertwine creating a wonderful complex dance on the palate. Tannins are well integrated and finish continues on and on. This wine is magic! Drinking extremely well right now but this will peak in another 2-4 years.

Sunday Brown Bag Tasting: 2000 Grand Cru Red Burgundy (Rich & Dana's): Dark fruit and herb notes. Balanced, with medium tannins and flavors of herbal red and black fruit. Medium+ finish.

Barely drinkable. Really nothing left. Past it's life. Dead.
