  • ok, had better for less such as Baldacci Oakville, so would NOT buy again at $110 price point

  • The wine is purple in color and the legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. Aromas and flavors include: blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, cassis, fig, strawberry jam, cherry, dust, flint, mineral, cedar, coconut, vanilla, lead pencil, clove, bell pepper, yeast, and eucalyptus. The ABV is high, the body is full and the wine has a long finish. Acidity is med. Overall, this is a very good wine that can be drunk now, but is suitable for further ageing.

  • This wine is a deep purple in color with a med(+) intensity of aroma. I smell blackberry, cassis, brown sugar, molasses, cream, cotton candy, and cooked mushroom. This is dry wine with med acidity, med(+) alcohol, med(+) tannin, full body, and a med(+) finish. I taste cassis, stewed blackberries, grape, plastic, herbaciousness, black pepper, and cedar. Overall, this is a very good wine that can be drunk now, but is suitable for further ageing. This wine could be laid down for 15 years or more.
