  Yes under-ripe (if my definition of under-ripe extends to green fruits and herbs) but the lack of fruit sure does give the wine some direction. Linear fruits, a little spice and mildly bristling nettles. Light finish. Maybe looks like underdone cab but am cutting some breaks as the last thing I needed was a heavy red.
