Nose of wet dirt, forest floor, a bit of black pepper, blueberry and juicy red plum. Lots going on. The palate is very similar to the nose with dusty dry tannins and lush acidity. It’s good. Maybe has a few more years in it.

PnP and ran through a vinturi, this has a very pinot nose of cherry and cranberry. The wine has a somewhat interesting color of light ruby with a little cloudiness to it. The palate is tightly acidic with very little tannins and a cranberry and earth tonality with lighter medium mouthfeel and a longer finish.

Cala Winemaker Takeover (Jolie-Laide, Scar of the Sea, Jaimee Motley (Cala, SF): With no distracting secondary/tertiary aromas, this sings with pure pinot fruit character - slightly sweaty red, black, and white cherry. Medium body, with moderate alcohol, elevated acid, and silky medium tannins. Overall I’m left with a detailed and vivid picture of perfectly-ripe fruit.

Decent enough but on it's last legs. Fruit fully integrated and losing acidity. If you have it, drink it now.
