Beautiful wine! Absolutely ready to drink now. Tannins are extremely soft and non existent after short decant. But man was there a lot of flavor!! Peppery notes with lots of dark fruit. Powerful yet light at the same time. Drink if you can!

Magnum, with one hour decant. This is the first of four vintages produced by a collaboration between Justin Smith of Saxum and the late Philippe Cambie. 76% Zinfandel, 8% Syrah, 6% Mataro, 6% Grenache and the rest Tempranillo. A beautiful wine, deep ruby with intense aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, toast and spice. Full body, smooth tannins, long rich finish.

Consistent notes. Blueberry bomb. With time more elegance, earth and black pepper. As good as Zin gets. On fire now but not going anywhere. Now-2030?

Dark purple. Lots of blueberries and vanilla, hint of pepper and spice on the finish. Big. Well put together.

Excellent! Starting to mellow a bit with age.
