Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 93.3 points

  • Warm, elegant and refined bouquet of dried berries, oregano, toasted cumin, dark chocolate and some barnyard notes. Fresh and complex palate with some roasted pine nuts. The depth and length of this wine is amazing. Medium-bodied structure which is open and layered as you chew. Nice finesse, leading to a spicy and plummy finish. Tannins are still prominent for now. An hour of decanting is necessary for better integration.

  • This is a wine to savour. Dried rose petals, chocolate, prune, and so much smoke. It still manages to seem fresh. The concentration is intense and the finish goes on forever. It’s a big step up from the Classico. It’s so very Italian. What’s not to love?!
