Bought as Margaux of unknown vintage. However, a 7 appeared at the fourth digit place on the label. Still some red color. Very clean, fresh and intense wine, long and with a complex finish. Some dusty tannins. Tertiary aromas of course, but although very mature, by no means gone. So good that 17, 27 and 57 were unlikely. Not the dry fruit profile I find in many 47s. Although by no means sure, I guess that this was the 37, and rated as such.

Dark brown. The bouquet revealed scents of brown sugar. However, a taste of this wine confirmed that it was DOA. No point in analyzing this too much, or grading it for that matter. NR
