Still going well. This is in such a good place. Drink now or over several more years. Love the complexity, structure, and layers of leather, dark cherries, blackberries, and spices.

Another great bottle. Wonderful dark fruit and some spice with the Syrah notes. The tannins are there but nicely integrated. Really liked the finish and it blossomed. I did decant for about 2 hours so it was ready when I started. It will definitely last but is in a good place.

I enjoyed this Sicilian red a good deal as a nice weekday cellar defender. Very subtle aromatics of rose oil, red fruit, and eucalyptus. Somewhat atypical for a 50% Syrah blend, but this house does not always fit the traditional winemaking mold. Delightful on the palate with black cherry and crunchy red fruit. There is a tad heavy hand on the oak treatment but not overtly so. A bit clipped on the back end. Glides seamlessly throughout. Not overly complex, but very enjoyable for a weekday wine. Would never have pegged this as a Sicilian Syrah blend in a blind... would have guessed Sangiovese.

Great big dark fruit. Nice structure and finish. Spicy and rich. This is a really good deal and a very interesting wine. Give it about an hour to open if you can. I would definitely buy again.

Beautifully aeromatic, candied red fruit, stony earth, hint of animal funk. Palate is soft and full, juicy red fruits, mouthwatering acid, old barrel, roasted nut. Finish is appropriately tannic for the size of the wine, but finishes feeling clean. Long lingering finish.
