A light bronze to gold colour with distinct yeasty aromas with walnuts and brioche, just ripe apple, ginger ale and hay. A bone dry entry with piercingly high acidity, medium-bodied and unusually some caramel and bircher muesli. Other flavours emerge from walnut, sourdough, spicy and stem ginger. A fairly long, undulating finish with complexity that is well made, clinically interesting, and somewhat enjoyable, yet didn’t complete wow!
