Long neglected in the cellar. Early pioneer of Paso Syrah. Dark red brick. Savory smoked meat and grilled herbs on the nose. Nose became more earthy with time. Black cherry, blueberries , and bacon fat with a pleasant tartness to the finish. Even though it was long past its professional taster's drinking window this mature Syrah is still fun to taste and held up to a savory beef soup.
