Deep ruby with discoloration on edge. Intense aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate. Full bodied, integrated tannins, medium+ acidity. Taste of cherry, black currant, dark chocolate, spice. Long.

Nose has bright red berry fruit with a touch of savory herbal notes and smoky spice to let you know it’s Chilean. The palate is basically the same with elegant bright juicy red fruits, good acidity, and some savory herbal and spicy notes on the backend. Errazuriz rarely disappoints and is a great way to get to know Chilean wines, especially their Bordeaux varietals, because of the price of these and their Max Reserva lines and because they skirt the line stylistically between Old and New World while keeping just enough Chilean identity. Sometimes, this line of Aconcagua Alto wines doesn’t always justify the more expensive price over the Max Reserva line, but in this case, the elegance and length made it worth it. 92-93

We’ll assembled. Nice red and dark berries flavours. Mellow tannins and acidity, with se tobacco background.

Nice smell of red fruits. Balance, round and elegant in the palate. Perfect for my Friday evening!
