Quite similar to my previous note. Main difference is that the wine is slightly more elegant, refined and show more complexity once the brett blows off.
red/dark cherries, wild strawberries, red plums, baking spices, stone fruit, menthol hint of licorice.
Texture and tannis have rounded some more, still quite firm in the background though well integrated. Sapidity, and a long finish (if it keeps going I might not brush my teeth tonight).

Gregory is spot on with the score and assessment of the wine. Maybe one small reservation, I’m not so sure if its just a simple wine now with time, easy to think about dolcetto in that way. Has maybe turned into a more serious wine now?
At first a hint of barnyard, dark cherries, licorice and orange notes. Both rustic and elegant at the same time. Great drinking pleasure and a seriously long finish. Wet stone/minerality to it as well, hint of bitterness.
Tannins are well integrated, sneaky (surprisingly) lot of it and together with the lively acidity I think this dolcetto can keep going for many years but beautiful now and a pure joy to drink.

Great, give it some air, goes beautifully well with pasta and tomato sauce.

Honest oldschool dolcetto - on the light side now, but can be expected to fill out in a few years.
