Lots of bright red fruit up front with a hint of baking spice and black pepper. Cherries, pomegranate, a little cranberry, nutmeg, clove. Medium acid, low-medium tannin. Very interesting, kind of what I imagine a cross between Beaujolais and Chateauneuf du Pape would be. Curious as to how this is going to change with time.

Consistent with previous bottle. A little additional age actually smoothed out the acid a bit and the fruit popped a little more as a result.

Reminds me of Grenache with some notes of fruit and spice. Appears to be a well made wine, but doesn’t really stand out otherwise.

A light bodied, high acid, high toned red from California? Sounds good to me............
